How to find personal database credentials
All credentials are stored in AWS Secrets Manager in the corresponding AWS account.
For the dev and test environments, use the service-user credentials provided through the CONNECTION_STRING secret.
For prod, use your personal database credentials. The personal secret name follows this format:
<username>_db_user
The secret is accessible only to the corresponding user, and contains the following information:
- Username
- Password
Note
Database user passwords are rotated automatically at a set interval.
Note
To request personal database access, see How to request access to production databases.
