Requesting Disaster Recovery Practice

According to the yearly administration plan, a disaster recovery practice should be performed at least once a year. To ensure that the practice session proceeds smoothly, please notify Team Cloud at least two weeks in advance, as a DR practice requires some coordination between Team Cloud and the requesting team.

The easiest way to request a DR practice session, is to post a message in the Slack channel #cloud-infrastruktur, and ping Team Cloud by including "@team_cloud" in the message. You should specify the following information in the message:

• On what product should the DR practice be performed?
• Whether production data should be used for the practice or not
• When you want the DR practice session to occur (a minimum time slot of three hours should be allotted to the practice session)
